[State-of-Research Papier - Gewalterfahrungen von Geflüchteten][Policy Brief - Geflüchtete vor Gewalt schützen][Pressemitteilung][MIGAZIN-Gastbeitrag]The IFHV's Mais Masadeh participated in the Ph D workshop “Innovative Approaches to Qualitative Analysis” held between 28 May and 1 June at Aarhus University, Denmark.

She presented her research and discussed challenges and solutions of documenting narration of victims of human trafficking and sexual slavery.

The conference was co-hosted by KU Leuven, the London School of Economics and Political Science - LSE and the Hertie School of Governance. The conference brought together international academics from various states and high-level representatives of the European institutions, including the European Parliament, as well as advocate generals and judges from the Court of Justice of the European Union and the General Court of the European Union. We have just published a new Bofax by Sebastian Wuschka on the recent arbitral award in the arbitration between Everest Estate et al. The IFHV's Professor Hans-Joachim Heintze is a contributing author to the following edited volume that has just been published: The Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities. Points of discussion included obtaining credit points for volunteer work, potential BA or MA thesis topics, the possibility of internships and prospective benefits from specific training courses provided by the organisations.The IFHV's Christian Gudehus has just published a book chapter on "Violence as Action", in: Timothy Williams, Susanne Buckley-Zistel (eds.) Perpetrators and Perpetration of Mass Violence. The IFHV's current NOHA students spent the day in the Hague, visiting the Special Tribunal for Lebanon and the International Criminal Court - ICC.
